Visitors to Empire City Casino in New York are in for a treat as the gaming venue recently upgraded the casino floor with over 1,000 new titles. The gaming floor is the 6th largest in the United States and now offers more up-to-date titles for players to enjoy.

Out with the Old, In with the New

Players have access to new gaming content thanks to the addition by MGM Resorts. The casino has replaced close to 20% of its older titles, offering gamers new experiences as they visit the property. Empire Resorts offers close to 5,000 real money slots, so there is no shortage of games to discover.

MGM stated that the casino now offers titles that are popular worldwide, including games by top developers. The property added 88 Fortunes Money Coins and Dancing Drums Explosion by Light & Wonder, as well as titles by Aristocrat and Konami Gaming.

The casino sees around nine million guests a year and feels it is important to upgrade the overall experience by replacing older games with new options. New regulations have allowed the venue to pursue games from more venders like the ones now utilized on the gaming floor.

Transforming the Gaming Floor

Slot operations executive director Ryan Monroe has worked with Empire City for more than a decade and is the one behind the transformation. The director made it a priority to elevate the gaming experience for players by adding new games.

Thought was put into offering various denominations so that players of all skill levels and bankrolls would be able to play. Games start for mere pennies and go up to $200 per bet. Monroe also took time to study industry reports and analyze the market to figure out which games would be most enjoyed by visitors.

The addition of the 1,000 titles marks the first time that the casino added so many new games at one time. MGM continues to invest in its properties, including Empire City Casino to ensure that players have access to quality games and payout potential.

Monroe has also pointed out the many win options at the casino. The property offers several progressive slot games, with many featuring six-figure jackpot prizes. Many of the progressives are connected across multiple MGM properties, so it helps the prizes grow to astronomical heights.

As MGM adds the new games to Empire City, the brand is also preparing to obtain one of three licenses for commercial casinos offered in New York. It will be interesting to see if the company is successful as the process continues.
