Last week, visitors to the Harrah’s Casino in Atlantic City were in for a surprise as a huge and violent brawl broke out near the casino floor. It is unclear who was exactly involved in the incident, but the group of men threw several punches along with chairs as they fought. Police were called to the scene but the fight was over by the time they arrived.

Massive Brawl at Harrah’s Casino

It is not uncommon for a player or two at the New Jersey casino to get into a tussle over a game or perhaps just because they are too drunk. In this case, it is unclear why the fight started to begin with. The incident took place at the same time as a realtors convention but has yet to be revealed if those involved took part in the convention or if it was just a group of guys fighting for some odd reason or another.

According to one witness, the fight involved great physical violence. Minh Nguyen was at the casino near the food court in the early morning hours when the fight started. Nguyen stated that a chair was used to hit someone, and others were just throwing punches. To get away, Nguyen and a friend had to jump a railing.

Video footage has now surfaced of the fight, showing people trying to get away as well as people involved in the fight. In this video, Nguyen talks about what happened and you can see for yourself how the fight unfolded.

What Happened to Cause the Fight?

Details are still unknown as to why the fight broke out. An individual that spoke with The NY Post about the incident said the fight involved different mortgage companies. Apparently because of the real estate convention in town, parties were taking place at various venues that night.

It’s possible that the suit clad men were from the convention and perhaps words were thrown between the groups as a form of competition. It really is unclear. Oddly enough, the fight was over when police arrived, and no charges were filed. It seems out of all the individuals involved in the fight, not a single person wanted to file a complaint after the fight.

For casino goers, the fight was certainly something you don’t see everyday and a way to spice up gaming at the casino. It will be interesting to see if anyone involved in the brawl will come forward to discuss what happened with the media, including why the fight started in the first place.
