Harrah’s Cherokee is quickly moving ahead with its new hotel build, set to offer reservations by the end of the year. The hotel has reached the 10th level, and the construction crew is now working on the start of the 11th floor. Interior framing has already started on the first six levels.

For the casino expansion, there are elevators going in and electrical systems. The entry area and parking structure are still being worked on with the new casinos et to offer gaming options this spring.

The expansion has three parts, with the gaming floor growing by 25,000 square feet. The casino will include a new poker room, branded after the World Series of Poker (WSOP). This is sure to be a big draw for poker players.

The casino will also include a new hotel tower with 296 guest rooms. The property will feature a 12,000-square-foot rooftop restaurant. The parking deck will be home to 1,300 spaces.

Casino Upgrades

With a casino gaming floor expansion, players will have access to even more great gaming options this year. A 50% increase is expected for slots and table games. there will be 300 more slots and eight more table games.

The WSOP branded poker room will include ten tables, perfect for smaller events. A center bar is also in the works, with tabletop gaming and beer taps.

Overnight guests will be able to enjoy the full casino by staying in the new hotel tower. The property will include an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, spa and salon, and retail space. The hotel registration process has been upgraded and will help to check in guests as quickly as possible. The goal is to create a more seamless experience for overnight guests and day travelers.

The changes to the property are set to create a guest-friendly atmosphere at the casino.
