Foxwoods Resort Casino recorded its strongest month for slot revenue so far in 2026, generating $34.1 million in August as players wagered more than $406 million across the Connecticut casino’s slot floor.
Close to $407M Wagered on 3,280 Machines
The August figure was the highest monthly total reported by Foxwoods this year, surpassing the $32.9 million recorded in both May and July, according to data from the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection.
Players wagered $406.7 million on an average of 3,280 slot machines during the month. The machines returned 91.62% of the money wagered to players, according to state figures.
Under the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s agreement with Connecticut, 25% of Foxwoods’ slot revenue is contributed to the state. The August payment was approximately $8.53 million.
The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, which owns and operates Foxwoods, said it has contributed more than $4.9 billion from the casino’s slot revenue to Connecticut’s budget fund since 1993.
Foxwoods also reported more than $21 million in winnings from 3,106 jackpots across its casino floor during August.
Upcoming Oktoberfest Bingo Event
The strong slot figures come as Foxwoods prepares for another large bingo event. The resort will host its Oktoberfest Bingo event on October 17 at the High Stakes Bingo Hall in Mashantucket, with a total prize pool of $300,000.
Doors will open at 6 a.m. for advance ticket holders and at 9 a.m. for same-day sales. Warm-up games are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the main games at noon.
The event follows Foxwoods’ July Firecracker Bingo, which featured a $440,000 single-game jackpot. Guinness World Records recognized that payout as the largest for a single game of bingo at one bingo hall.
August also featured several casino promotions, including the $300,000 SummerFest Sweepstakes and a Bingo Unleashed event.
