Analysts had expected earnings of 8 cents per share on revenue of $2.96 billion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Revenue increased slightly compared with the same period last year<\/strong>, but the company&#8217;s net loss widened from $55 million in the third quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Caesars reported adjusted EBITDA of $865 million, down from $884 million a year earlier.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"las-vegas-revenue-declines-as-regional-casinos-grow\">Las Vegas Revenue Declines as Regional Casinos Grow<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Caesars&#8217; nine Las Vegas properties generated $930 million in revenue<\/strong>, a 2.3% decline from $952 million in the third quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The company&#8217;s regional casino business moved in the opposite direction, with revenue rising 5.9% to approximately $1.6 billion from $1.5 billion in the prior-year quarter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Caesars Digital also recorded growth<\/strong>. Revenue from the division increased 4.8% to $320 million, compared with $311 million a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA for the digital business climbed to $44 million from $28 million.<\/p>\n<p>Revenue from properties managed or branded by Caesars declined 20.5% to $55 million, down from $73 million in the third quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The results show differing performances across the company&#8217;s business segments, with digital and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/news\/vegas-analysis-gaming-stocks-are-still-weak-regional-casinos-hold-steady\">regional casino operations recording revenue growth<\/a> while its Las Vegas properties and managed and branded operations reported declines.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"caesars-shares-edge-lower-ahead-of-proposed-merger\">Caesars Shares Edge Lower Ahead of Proposed Merger<\/h2>\n<p>Caesars shares closed at $28.85 on Tuesday, down 14 cents, or 0.48%, on Nasdaq trading volume of approximately 6.2 million shares. That exceeded the company&#8217;s average trading volume of 4.8 million shares.<\/p>\n<p>In after-hours trading, the stock fell a further five cents, or 0.17%, to $28.80.<\/p>\n<p>The company did not hold a third-quarter earnings conference call because of the pending $17.6 billion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/news\/caesars-entertainment-sale-is-expected-to-take-place-very-soon\">acquisition and merger with Fertitta Entertainment<\/a>, announced earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>Under the proposed transaction, Caesars would transition into a privately held company and delist from Nasdaq once the deal closes.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"debt-remains-above-11-billion\">Debt Remains Above $11 Billion<\/h2>\n<p>Caesars reported <strong>$11.7 billion in aggregate principal debt outstanding as of September 30, 2026<\/strong>, down from $11.9 billion at the same point last year.<\/p>\n<p>The company held $864 million in cash and cash equivalents, excluding an additional $113 million in restricted cash.<\/p>\n<p>The third-quarter results come as Caesars prepares for a potential ownership change that would take the company out of the public markets.
