The machines returned 91.62% of the money wagered to players, according to state figures.<\/p>\n<p>Under the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation\u2019s agreement with Connecticut, <strong>25% of Foxwoods\u2019 slot revenue is contributed to the state<\/strong>. The August payment was approximately $8.53 million.<\/p>\n<p>The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, which owns and operates Foxwoods, said it <strong>has contributed more than $4.9 billion from the casino\u2019s slot revenue<\/strong> to Connecticut\u2019s budget fund since 1993.<\/p>\n<p>Foxwoods also reported more than $21 million in winnings from 3,106 jackpots across its casino floor during August.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"upcoming-oktoberfest-bingo-event\">Upcoming Oktoberfest Bingo Event<\/h2>\n<p>The strong slot figures come as Foxwoods prepares for another large bingo event. The resort will host its <em>Oktoberfest Bingo<\/em> event on October 17 at the High Stakes Bingo Hall in Mashantucket, with a total prize pool of $300,000.<\/p>\n<p>Doors will open at 6 a.m. for advance ticket holders and at 9 a.m. for same-day sales.
