Today, they\u2019re receiving a cease-and-desist.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2 id=\"operators-under-the-spotlight\">Operators Under the Spotlight<\/h2>\n<p>A letter released by the Attorney General\u2019s office alleges that Visa is currently processing  payments for a number of gambling brands located offshore, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/online-casinos\/betonline-casino\">BetOnline<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/online-casinos\/betus-casino\">BetUS<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/online-casinos\/bovada-casino\"?Bovada<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/online-casinos\/betnow-casino\">BetNow<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/online-casinos\/lucky-rebel\">Lucky Rebel<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/online-casinos\/sportsbetting-ag\">SportsBetting<\/a> and XBet. <\/p>\n<p>State officials say that these operators bypass Florida\u2019s regulatory framework while diverting revenue away from authorized gaming channels.<\/p>\n<p>The letter says that Visa has until June 24, 2026 to explain the steps it has taken to prevent such transactions, further warning that legal action could follow if the company fails to comply.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"extended-efforts\">Extended Efforts<\/h2>\n<p>The latest move forms part of Florida\u2019s broader effort to combat illegal gambling activity. State authorities have long sought to protect the exclusivity granted to the Seminole Tribe under Florida\u2019s gaming compact. At the moment, <strong>Hard Rock Bet<\/strong> is the state\u2019s only authorized online sportsbook. <strong>Online casino gaming is still not legal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Uthmeier said Florida is prepared to use additional enforcement tools against offshore gambling operations and those that support them.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>If you\u2019re a payment processor and you\u2019re helping one of those sites, you are breaking the law.
