That\u2019s our conundrum.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2 id=\"the-fights-not-over-in-texas\">The Fight\u2019s Not Over in Texas<\/h2>\n<p>In Texas, Sands is also facing difficulties in pursuing the legalization of casino gaming. Sands funds the <strong>Texas Destination Resort Association<\/strong>, which has been running ads encouraging lawmakers to put the matter on the ballot as a constitutional amendment. <\/p>\n<p>Goldstein did not provide new updates on the Texas situation but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/news\/las-vegas-sands-ramps-up-efforts-for-legalized-gambling-in-dallas\">confirmed the ongoing battle for legalization<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Despite challenges in the U.S., Goldstein and chief operating officer <strong>Patrick Dumont<\/strong> remained optimistic about Sands\u2019s growth prospects in Asia. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Sands reported net revenue of $2.9 billion for the fourth quarter<\/strong>, a 0.7% decrease from the previous year. <\/p>\n<p>However, Goldstein expressed confidence in Macau\u2019s long-term potential. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Gaming revenue in Macau grew 6% in the fourth quarter over 2023, and mass gaming revenue rose 5%. We believe the Chinese economy and the Macau market will grow, and gaming revenue should exceed $30 billion in 2025.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In Singapore, Sands saw positive results, with property-adjusted EBITDA reaching $537 million and mass gaming growing by 28%.
