{"id":3339,"date":"2024-06-18T13:11:08","date_gmt":"2024-06-18T13:11:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/news\/?p=3339"},"modified":"2024-06-18T13:11:08","modified_gmt":"2024-06-18T13:11:08","slug":"hard-rock-casino-northern-indiana-in-the-lead-for-a-31st-month-in-a-row","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/news\/hard-rock-casino-northern-indiana-in-the-lead-for-a-31st-month-in-a-row","title":{"rendered":"HRC Northern Indiana, in the Lead for a 31st Month in a Row"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/01\/hard-rock-casino-northern-indiana.jpg\" alt=\"Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-2387\" width=\"300\" title=\"Hard Rock Northern Indiana, in the Lead for a 31st Month in a Row\" \/><strong>Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hard Rock Northern Indiana has kept its winning streak in terms of the highest monthly revenue totals in the state. <\/li>\n<li>According to the Indiana Gaming Commission, Hard Rock outpaces all other casinos for the 31st consecutive month. <\/li>\n<li>Statewide revenue reached $215 million in May.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>According to fresh data by the <strong>Indiana Gaming Commission <\/strong>(IGC), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/news\/hard-rock-casino-northern-indiana-reports-successful-month-in-february\">Hard Rock Northern Indiana tallied more revenue<\/a> after paying winning bettors than any of its 12 competitors in the state for the 31st month in a row in May. <\/p>\n<h2 id=\"one-of-the-best-months-since-opening\">One of the Best Months Since Opening<\/h2>\n<p>The venue that promises to offer the ultimate gaming experience in Chicagoland with its 1,700+ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/games\/slots\">slots<\/a> and 80 table games once again defeated all other commercial casinos in the Hoosier State with a reported win of $39.3 million. <\/p>\n<p>The figure marked a 16.4% increase compared to the same month of last year when the casino reached $33.7 million in wins. <\/p>\n<p>At the same time, May\u2019s number represented one of the highest monthly totals since the Gary gaming destination offering dining and entertainment officially opened on May 14, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The casino\u2019s machine play reached a total of $288.5 million last month while the state-best win was $28.8 million.<\/p>\n<p>Compared to the same May of last year, when the <strong>slot win reached $25.4 million on $255.9 million in play<\/strong>, the Gary venue was in the lead statewide. <\/p>\n<p>Even more, the casino was in the lead in terms of table game play, with special emphasis on baccarat where it gathered $48.2 million. <\/p>\n<p>Hard Rock also topped the table win with a reported figure of $10.4 million.<\/p>\n<p>The same <a href=\"https:\/\/www.in.gov\/igc\/files\/2024-05-Revenue.pdf\">IGT data<\/a> showed considerably larger amounts of money were wagered at Hard Rock\u2019s table games last month than the tables at the three other Northwest Indiana casinos brought together.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"indiana-reaches-215-1m-in-total-casino-win-in-may\">Indiana Reaches $215.1M in Total Casino Win in May <\/h2>\n<p>Hard Rock Northern Indians accounted for over 18% of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/states\/indiana\">Indiana<\/a>\u2019s $215.1 million in total casino wins in May 2024, according to the same data from IGC.<\/p>\n<div style=\"position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:56.25%\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BEiyqwZ6-IY?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0?ecver=2\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana\u2019s president, <strong>Matt Schuffert<\/strong>, commented on their accomplishment, giving credit to their &#8220;outstanding team members, who focus day in and day out on providing memorable experiences\u201d for guests. <\/p>\n<p>The casino president also took the opportunity to express his pleasure for seeing Hard Rock get voted as &#8220;<em>Best Casino<\/em>&#8220;, &#8220;<em>Best Casino Dining<\/em>&#8221; as well as &#8220;<em>Best Place for Lunch<\/em>&#8220;, among other equally prestigious accolades, at The Times Best of the Region awards just in time for the casino to celebrate its third anniversary. <\/p>\n<p>Indiana\u2019s ex-earnings leader, <strong>Horseshoe Casino<\/strong>, only ranked fourth in May, falling behind sister properties Horseshoe Indianapolis and Caesars Southern Indiana with $21.8 million in win, signaling a drop of 11.2% from the May 2023 recorded win of $24.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>East Chicago\u2019s <strong>Ameristar Casino<\/strong> recorded a decrease of 1.9% in monthly win to $14.6 million in May 2024 compared with the $14.9 million it recorded in May 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan City\u2019s <strong>Blue Chip Casino<\/strong> went up 5.4% in terms of total win, reaching $10.6 million in May 2024 compared to the $10.1 million recorded in May 2023. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Summary: Hard Rock Northern Indiana has kept its winning streak in terms of the highest monthly revenue totals in the state.
