Wynn is 81 years old and admits no wrongdoing in the case. He agreed to pay the funds but still says he is innocent of all charges. <\/p>\n<p>Along with the money, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/news\/wall-street-analysts-predict-potential-wynn-resorts-sale-and-ceo-exile\">Wynn has agreed to remove himself from any direct or indirect involvement with the gambling industry<\/a>. This includes financing, advertising, and consulting within Nevada. As details came out to the public, Wynn made the decision to step down as chairman and chief executive. This was in 2018, so the case has lasted for many years. <\/p>\n<p>Over the years, Wynn removed himself more from the company. He divested shares and stepped down as the Republican National Committee finance chairman. All of this was the result of several allegations that Wynn was inappropriate towards employees. <\/p>\n<p>Several women came forward stating that Wynn had a pattern of sexual behavior that included pressuring individuals to have sex with him. At the time, Wynn said that such allegations of assault were \u2018<em>preposterous<\/em>.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>An <a href=\"https:\/\/gaming.nv.gov\/modules\/showdocument.aspx?documentid=15236\">investigation by the Nevada Gaming Commission in 2019<\/a> found that Wynn had a pattern of reckless behavior with subordinate employees that was connected to sexual conduct. Even if the conduct was consensual as Wynn stated, there was a power balance between the company CEO and the lower-level employees. <\/p>\n<p>Wynn Resorts reportedly ignored the behavior of its leader, and this led to previous fines. The <strong>Commission decided that the company should pay around $20 million for ignoring complaints<\/strong> regarding Wynn\u2019s behavior. Reportedly, many of the higher ups knew what was going on and did nothing.
