In addition to instant games, Scientific Games also provides them with retail and systems technology. <\/p>\n<p>The Connecticut Lottery was created in 1971 and was the fourth state to launch the lottery in America. The agency has since contributed over $10 billion of its revenues to various state causes and programs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Greg Smith<\/strong>, Connecticut Lottery CEO expressed his confidence with the extended partnership deal they signed with Scientific Games. According to Smith, extending their partnership made financial sense due to the Scientific Games robust record for developing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/games\">popular instant games<\/a>, as well as their competence and experience in helping lottery agencies manage their portfolios more effectively. Smith said that he and the CLC look forward to working with Scientific Games as their primary instant games partner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>John Schulz<\/strong>, the SVP for Scientific Games\u2019 Lottery Instant Products stated that they were honored to attain primary instant games provider status for the Connecticut Lottery. Schulz remains confident that CLC\u2019s trust will be rewarded with growth and more funds for Connecticut\u2019s programs.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"creator-of-instant-games-in-america\">Creator of Instant Games in America<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinousa.com\/news\/federal-jury-orders-scientific-games-to-pay-315-million\">Scientific Games<\/a> is generally considered the creator of the instant game industry in the U.S. The vendor was the first company to market a secure retail instant game locally in 1974 and was also the first to create a digital instant game in 2014. <\/p>\n<p>Scientific Games\u2019 renewed partnership with the Connecticut Lottery also involves the provider helping them grow their instant game revenues by offering their marketing and research expertise to the Lottery\u2019s 2,800 retail branches. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Scientific Games<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Scientific Games is currently on a roll. Just days before their announced extension with the Connecticut Lottery, the provider won a 10-year contract with the Iowa Lottery to create and maintain a brand new gambling system for the state.
